The Bowflex SelectTech 560 Adjustable Dumbbells and the PowerBlock Elite EXP 50 Adjustable Dumbbells both deliver space-saving weight training solutions that replace multiple pairs of traditional dumbbells. Public reviews and manufacturer specifications highlight the SelectTech 560 for its dial-based mechanism that offers ten distinct weight settings ranging from 5 to 52.5 pounds per dumbbell, with consistent dimensions of 16.9 by 8.3 by 9 inches and a listed price of $549.99 for the pair. In contrast, the PowerBlock Elite EXP 50 uses a modular expansion system that starts at 5 to 50 pounds. And can be upgraded later, with a more compact square profile that many users find comfortable for certain grip-intensive movements. Reviewers note differences in how each handle feels during extended sessions, with the SelectTech praised for smoother transitions. And the PowerBlock often cited for its durability under heavier loads. Bottom line: choose the Bowflex SelectTech 560 when a verified ten-setting system.
