Editorial independence

GoodPickr’s verdicts, scores, and recommendations are produced through a documented pipeline and are never influenced by manufacturers, retailers, advertisers, or affiliate relationships.

• No brand pays to appear in GoodPickr results.
• No brand pays to be excluded from results.
• Affiliate revenue does not move a score, a ranking, or a verdict, ever.
• Products without affiliate programs are evaluated on equal terms with products that have them.

Sponsored content

We do not run sponsored content. Period.

We do not accept paid placements, paid reviews, paid rankings, paid “featured” slots, or branded content of any kind. If that policy ever changes, sponsored content will be clearly and prominently labeled on every surface where it appears, with disclosure language that meets FTC 16 CFR Part 255 requirements.

AI content disclosure

GoodPickr is AI-assisted. We are direct about that, on every page where it matters.

• Comparison verdicts, scores, and recommendations are generated by xAI’s Grok-3 inside a structured, schema-locked pipeline.
• The model’s inputs are explicit: a verified spec table, current price and stock, aggregated customer-rating signals, and the user’s stated use case. The model does not free-style from training memory.
• AI-generated analysis is not hands-on testing and is never presented as such.
• Flagship articles and buying guides are reviewed by the editor (Billy G.) before publication.

Source verification

Every spec, price, and rating cited on GoodPickr is traceable to one of: the Best Buy Products API, the eBay Browse API, the Amazon Product Advertising API, the CJ Affiliate catalog, or a manufacturer datasheet. We do not write specs from memory.

Each comparison is run through a four-signal confidence scorer (spec verification, category coherence, model confidence, image quality). Comparisons that score below 0.70 are not persisted, indexed, or shown with full prominence; they are flagged for regeneration or human review. Detail on How We Score.

Affiliate relationships

GoodPickr earns commissions when readers click partner links and complete a qualifying purchase. We participate in:

• Amazon Associates
• eBay Partner Network
• Best Buy Affiliate Program (via Impact)
• CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) — including LG Electronics, BenQ, AutoTrader, Edmunds
• FlexOffers — including CarGurus

Commissions are paid by the retailer, not the reader. Our Affiliate Disclosure covers each network in full and complies with FTC 16 CFR Part 255 endorsement guidance.

Accuracy standards

GoodPickr aims for current, verifiable accuracy. We acknowledge real limitations:

• Volatile data: price and stock change frequently. Listings on GoodPickr may differ from current retailer pages by minutes.
• Newly released products: data may be limited at launch and we flag confidence accordingly.
• No personal use: we do not test or use the products in our home, so claims about long-term durability or feel are sourced from aggregated owner feedback, not first-hand experience.

Correction policy

Confirmed errors are corrected within 48 hours.

If you believe a verdict, score, or fact on GoodPickr is wrong, email billy@goodpickr.com with:

• The page URL.
• The specific claim you believe is incorrect.
• A source for the correct information when possible.

The underlying article’s dateModified schema field is bumped so search engines re-crawl the corrected version. Material corrections are noted in the article when the change affects a verdict.

Product coverage

GoodPickr covers consumer electronics, computing hardware, audio gear, home appliances, and adjacent durable goods. We deliberately do not cover:

• Financial products or services.
• Medical devices or health products.
• Categories where regulatory or laboratory testing is the only responsible source (drugs, supplements, child car seats, etc.).
