Skip both if

Neither publishes peak brightness yet.

The LG OLED G5 65 and the Samsung S95D 65 QD OLED both deliver large-screen OLED performance built around 4K resolution. And 120 Hz refresh rates, yet they diverge in panel technology and market positioning. Public specifications show the LG OLED G5 65 relying on a WRGB OLED panel with established MLA brightness enhancement, while the Samsung S95D 65 QD OLED uses a quantum-dot color filter layered over a blue OLED emitter, promising wider color volume and potentially different handling of near-black detail. Review aggregates note the LG model's immediate availability, consistent pricing, and proven gaming feature set including VRR. And low input lag, whereas early coverage of the Samsung emphasizes its anti-reflective coating. And slim design but leaves peak brightness and motion processing details unconfirmed until full release data arrives. Neither manufacturer has published final peak brightness figures, leaving direct luminance comparisons speculative at this stage. Bottom line: choose the LG OLED G5 65 for confirmed 4K OLED performance, 120 Hz refresh. And known pricing, or consider the S95D 65 QD OLED if you prefer to wait for official specifications before deciding.

Verdict: Pick LG OLED G5 65 if you need confirmed 4K OLED performance, 120Hz refresh and known pricing. Pick S95D 65 QD OLED if you prefer to wait for official specs before deciding. Neither publishes peak brightness yet.
