Verdict: The XR X90K edges out the X90J thanks to its newer XR Cognitive Processor and Dolby Vision support, which translate into noticeably better upscaling and HDR performance. However, both models are now superseded by current‑gen Sony TVs like the X95L, so buyers should weigh the modest improvements against the availability of newer options. If you can find a good deal on a used X90K, it’s the better pick; otherwise consider waiting for a current‑generation model.
