The LG B4 OLED 55 and the LG C2 represent two generations of LG’s mid-range OLED lineup, both delivering self-emissive panels with perfect blacks and wide viewing angles. Public specifications show the B4 uses the newer Alpha 8 processor for improved upscaling and motion handling while retaining full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and Dolby Vision support, whereas the C2 relies on the older Alpha 9 Gen 5 chipset yet still offers four HDMI 2.1 ports and the same variable-refresh-rate features prized by gamers. Review aggregates indicate the B4 achieves marginally better color volume. And smoother gradations in SDR content, though neither model publishes official peak-brightness figures, leaving real-world HDR performance dependent on room conditions and content. The B4 also arrives at a lower street price of $1,099.99 for the 55-inch size, making it the more accessible option for buyers seeking compact OLED performance without sacrificing core features. Bottom line: choose the LG B4 OLED 55 for its current pricing and modest processing gains if a 55-inch Dolby Vision OLED fits the room.

Verdict: Pick LG B4 OLED 55 if you need a compact 55‑inch TV with Dolby Vision and a lower price of $1,099.99. Neither publishes peak brightness yet.
