Verdict: The LG C2 wins on pure picture quality, offering infinite contrast and superior color accuracy, which CNET and RTINGS both highlight as class‑leading. However, the TCL R655’s higher brightness and lower price make it a solid choice for bright‑room viewing, as noted by Consumer Reports. Overall, the C2 is the better premium TV, while the R655 provides the best value for budget‑focused buyers.
