The Hisense 65-Inch U6 Series ULED TV (65U6K). And the Samsung UN65TU8000FXZA 65-Inch 4K UHD Smart TV represent two distinct approaches to midrange 65-inch 4K panels available in recent years. Public specifications and aggregated user reports show the Hisense model delivering a measured peak brightness near 600 nits along with Dolby Vision HDR support. And local dimming zones that improve contrast in mixed lighting, while the Samsung relies on a standard edge-lit VA panel with HDR10 compatibility but lacks published brightness figures and advanced HDR formats. Review roundups further note the Hisense running the VIDAA platform with quicker app load times versus the Samsung’s Tizen interface, though both sets deliver competent upscaling of non-4K content and similar color coverage once calibrated. Differences in reported motion handling and black-level uniformity also surface consistently across owner feedback. The short version: choose the Hisense for documented brightness. And Dolby Vision performance, the Samsung for a straightforward 4K smart TV experience, or look past both if confirmed HDMI 2.1 and VRR features are required.

Verdict: Pick Hisense if you need verified brightness (600 nits) and Dolby Vision HDR; pick Samsung if you prefer a generic 4K smart TV without known brightness or price constraints; skip both if you require confirmed HDMI 2.1 or VRR support, which neither product publicly lists
