LG Ultragear 27gn950 B
The ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ and the LG UltraGear 27GN950-B are both 27-inch 4K IPS gaming monitors that deliver 144 Hz refresh rates with full NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync compatibility. Public reviews and manufacturer specifications highlight the ROG Swift PG27UQ’s emphasis on its Aura Sync lighting, extensive on-screen display customization through the ASUS ROG ecosystem. And distinctive branding that appeals to users already invested in ROG peripherals. In contrast, the LG UltraGear 27GN950-B is noted for LG’s panel tuning, which often produces slightly more consistent color accuracy out of the box, along with streamlined UltraGear menu features focused on input lag reduction and console-friendly HDMI 2.1 support. Both models share identical core display specifications including 3840x2160 resolution, 1 ms GtG response, and HDR600 certification, yet they diverge in software philosophy and minor ergonomic details. Bottom line: choose the ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ for deeper integration with ROG software. And aesthetics, or the LG UltraGear 27GN950-B if LG’s display calibration and feature priorities align better with your setup.
