If you need a rugged, faster‑interface drive for on‑site work, the Yeti 2000X is the better choice. For everyday home backup where cost and size matter, the Backup Plus Portable remains a solid, more affordable option. The Yeti’s higher speed and durability justify its modest price premium, but the Backup Plus still offers reliable storage for typical users.
